Get a ‘pizza’ the action: Domino’s trials extended store opening hours

Because hunger never sleeps, Domino’s are opening select stores for longer than they ever have before.  

From 2 December 2024, select Domino’s stores across Australia will commence extended trading hours delivering hot and fresh pizza for longer than they ever have before. 

The decision to trial extended trading hours was made in response to a growing consumer demand for late-night and early-morning pizza service.  

Domino’s move to trial extended opening hours will allow the Company to cater to night owls, early risers and everyone in between – ensuring pizza is always available whenever hunger strikes!  

Domino’s ANZ CEO Kerri Hayman said the trial aims to generate further customer insight and could potentially pave the way for extended operating hours across more locations in the future. 

“At Domino’s, we pride ourselves on giving our customers more of what they want – more choice, more value and more convenience! 

“With the launch of this new extended hours service trial, we’re excited to give our customers more flexibility when it comes to ordering what they want, when they want it. Because what’s better than a slice of your favourite pizza after a night out with friends…or even delivered hot and fresh for breakfast the next morning? Who are we to judge?  

“We know the appetite for pizza and our delicious Snacking Range with items like Crispy Chips, Pizza Dogs, Meltzz and Southern Fried Chicken Tenders never ends, regardless of if its morning or night! So, with stores like Sunnybank in Queensland, opening every day from 7AM to 2AM, we can ensure no-late night or early morning craving is left unsatisfied.  

“We look forward to the launch of this trial and measuring the response from customers,” said Mrs Hayman.  

Domino’s extended trading hours trial aims to provide pizza lovers across the country with the option to visit their local store for breakfast, lunch or dinner (and dessert). After all there is never a wrong time for a Choc Lava Cake!  

At Domino’s, the safety and wellbeing of team members is our number one priority. Additional measures including specialised team member training and security precautions have been taken into consideration to ensure all stores participating in the trial can do so safely.
